  • Time Domain Sensors

TDS - Schmid & Partner Engineering AG

Time Domain Sensor (TDS) probes are miniaturized fully isolated active optical magnetic or electric field sensors operating in the frequency range from 10MHz to 6GHz. TDS offers unparalleled sensitivity for EM measurements resolved in the time and frequency domains while maintaining all amplitude and phase information.

  • VLF Receiver

    T-Vlf - IRIS Instruments

The VLF receiver is specially designed for high productivity surveys, in ground water and mining exploration. No orientation of the operator with respect to the direction of the transmitter is required since three magnetic sensors measure the components of the VLF field. Tilt or horizontality of the sensor unit is neither required since two inclinometers correct for tilted position.

*High accuracy 0.07% rd + 0.03% ro*Excellent long term stability*Outstanding over capability and temperature performance*Wide selection of input / output ranges*Meets ANSI C37.90 (1989) and BEAMA No. 219 tests*High magnetic field immunity*Real power - able to measure distorted waveform

  • Flow Logger Sensor

    NUL-224 - Neulog

This sensor allows for a stream of water to flow through its inlet and outlet pipes, thus revolving a rotation wheel within it. The wheel is not connected mechanically to anything else, but rather floats on a bearing for minimum friction and the enhancement of its minute accuracy. The measuring is done by monitoring changes in the sensor's surrounding magnetic field.

  • UtiliShelf®

    The Eastern Specialty Company

UtiliShelf® (Catalog No. 1063) allows you to create a quick and easy work station at a site. The UtiliShelf® is magnetic and will attach to any metal object (16 gauge or thicker for full magnet strength). No more worrying about where you’ll be setting up your test equipment or laptop in the field!

  • SparkFun Triple Axis Magnetometer Breakout

    MLX90393 (Qwiic) - SparkFun Electronics

It's time to start utilizing the superior magnetometer, and what better way than to throw it onto an easy-to-use breakout board? The SparkFun MLX90393 Magnetometer Breakout is a triple-axis magnetic sensor board capable of sensing very small fields, while still behaving as one would expect during saturation in larger fields (like a nearby magnet). The MLX90393 breakout can be used as a compass sensor but also works well as a non-contact controller, a flow meter with a magnetic impeller, or a linear actuator position sensor. To make it even easier to to get your readings, all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

  • DC Gaussmeter

    GM1-HS - Alpha Lab, Inc.

The Model GM1-HS measures the strength and polarity of magnetic fields up to 799.99 gauss. The thin sensor is at the end of a 100 cm flexible cable. The sensor tip is also flexible and can be bent for a variety of situations. The sensor can be held against the surface of a steel part to check for residual magnetism, or it can be bent into an "L" shape to measure inside a DC Solenoid. This meter has a resolution of .01 gauss (1/50 of the Earth's typical field) which is finer resolution than the Model GM1-ST. It is also used to map fields from large magnets (If fields are over 800 gauss, use the Model GM1-ST). The meter has immediate turn-on and updates 4 times a second. There is no setup required, making this the fastest gaussmeter available.

  • Gaussmeter/Teslameter

Model 2100 - Magnetic Instrumentation Inc.

The Model 2100 Gaussmeter is a fully featured, high-end Gaussmeter with a low cost Gaussmeter price. It is a compact, high accuracy, microprocessor controlled, flux density measuring instrument. The Model 2100 is capable of measuring static (DC), alternating (AC), or pulsed magnetic fields. Twelve measurement ranges allow the operator to configure the meter for maximum resolution and accuracy from 300mG (30 microTesla) to 300 kG (30 Tesla). Selecting primary measurement functions is quick and easy with dedicated front panel function keys. An easy-to-use menu allows access to user defined parameters such as upper and lower magnetic limits and relative magnetic measurements. Remote meter configuration is completely accessible using the built in RS-232 Interface or optional IEEE-488 Interface.

  • Cryostats

    attoCRYO - attocube systems AG

Fundamental research in physics, as well as specimen characterization in materials science often require the use of (ultra) low temperatures. Many phenomena also involve the application of high magnetic fields, usually generated by superconducting magnets. attocube provides a broad portfolio of versatile cryostats for sensitive measurements at variable temperatures and extreme conditions.

  • Earth Magnetometer

    EM2 - Alpha Lab, Inc.

The Earth Magnetometer Model EM2 measures small variations from location to location in the Earth magnetic field associated with buried magnetic masses. Unlike metal detectors, a magnetometer signal is not attenuated by rock, dirt, mud or water, so targets can be detected at great depth. (If D is the diameter of a mass of magnetizable material, the EM2 can detect it as deep as 40 times the diameter D, whether the mass is specifically magnetized or not.) It is the lightest weight and lowest cost magnetometer available which can reliably measure differences down to 1 nT from point to point.

  • MPU- Passive Sensors

    Orbit Controls AG

sensors of the MPU series are passive elements intended for measuring rotational speeds or speeds of moving parts. The measuring principle is based on voltage induction in the coil through a changing magnetic field, which is caused, for example, by a rotating ferromagnetic gear. The coil is wound on a magnetic core and led out via a cable or a plug. The sensors are manufactured with metric or inch threads or with a flange connection and deliver a sinusoidal output signal, the amplitude of which is proportional to the peripheral speed. They can be connected to Orbit Controls evaluation devices. An OC35-IMP transmitter is available for converting to square-wave signals.
